The Weekend Dish: 9/15/2018

Happy mid-September Saturday to you!
I hope that anyone that has found themselves in Hurricane Florenceโs path has stayed safe and hasnโt suffered much damage or prolonged power outages.
Our weekend is looking low key here since most everyone in our house is still under the weather. That will likely mean college football today, along with puzzles, books, and lounging around the house. What do you have going on? Tell me what youโre doing and eating!
As always, you'll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I've bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

I had a wonderful appetizer this weekend. It was similar to Guacamole but made with peas. The hostess said it was just peas whirled up in a food processor with a bit of sour cream. She spread it on garlic toasted baggets with bacon crumbles and a sprinkle of Parmesan. They were delicious!
