The Weekend Dish: 7/13/2019

Hello Saturday!
I feel like we are right smack dab in the middle of summer, yes? Iโve loved doing extra, different, special things with the kids since weโve been free of schedules aside from once a week swim and skating lessons. Thereโs been a lot of bike riding, backyard playing, hose spraying, popsicle eating fun and Iโm loving it :)
What are you up to this weekend? I hope you enjoy this summer weekend!
As always, you'll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I've bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

The ย salted caramel Ritz cracker icebox cake reminded me of this 10 minute lime cracker pie::ย https://sweets.seriouseats.com/2011/07/sweet-hacks-10-minute-no-bake-lime-cracker-pie.html ย Itโs ย delicious and even easier than the salted caramel dessert. ย
Hi Michelle. I live about 60 miles South of you near Champion. Iโve run into your site a few times now. This last looking for a 7 Layer Bar recipe. I was a little disappointed when I read & then remembered it had graham crackers in it as my daughter and I both have Celiac Disease and are totally gluten free. Gluten free graham crackers are extremely expensive and usually not very good. Do you think I could sub another layer bar bottom in them? Maybe your Caramel Apple ones?
Thanks
Hi Wanda, Yes absolutely!
