Hi Michelle,
I love your blog and recipes. I canโt wait to make your Hot Cross Buns. I have to wait until I can get yeast. Hopefully soon. Also, your New York Cheese.
Happy Easter to you. How great is our God, our living hope in all of this always.
My grandmother usually served what she called honeyed carrots. I found a recipe in my Better Homes and Garden cookbook. You boil the carrots until tender (when you poke them with a fork and the carrot falls off), drain the water, add butter and honey to the pan (with the carrots) and cook for a bit longer. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. No idea if this is how my grandmother did it, but they taste just like I remember! Plus, super easy to have on the stove while Iโm focused on the rest of the meal.ย
Hello Michelle, ย just wanted to thank you for the most delicious Easter bread recipe! ย It was perfect in every way. ย I was a little scared working with yeast, but I conquered my fear!! ย We already ate half of it in one sitting!!! ย The recipe is a keeper. ย Be well and have a Happy Easter! ย
Michelle,I want to wish you and your family a very happy Easter, such as it is this year for all of us. With all this going on around us, and without our Easter rituals, it almost doesnโt seem like weโre about to be celebrating a holy day. I hope everyone has food on their table and maybe one other person to share it with.Happy Easter!
