Hello, hello everyone!
It looks like most of us are going to be hunkering down and spending tons of time at home for at least the next couple of weeks. The grocery situation appears to be absolutely insane (I did the last of mine on Wednesday morning before things really got turned upside down); did you get everything you need? Iโm hoping things calm down over the weekend, stores get restocked, and Iโll be able to get some fresh produce at the beginning of the week.

We canceled Sunday dinner this week to ensure no germs are passed around; doing our best at social distancing for everyoneโs sake!
However, Iโll likely make a batch of meat sauce and pasta because the boys get seriously disappointed when we donโt have โsauce pastaโ on Sundays ๐

After the first year of focusing on making their homes seem โperfectโ,โtunnel rushโ,โฆ I gave them free reign to come up with anything they wanted! It was an experience I wanted children to remember as being one of joy, not a chore to get to the perfect home, so it was less stressful for me, which was important.

I have always wanted to find a site that a person can use to put in ingredients that they have on hand and come up with a good meal. Iโm not one of those that can always throw things together successfully. Even though I live in a rural area I still get to the grocery store 3-4 times a week. ย But, with the current situation, it would be a great time to find such a site. Do you know of any good ones? It might come in handy for a lot of people! Thank you so much!

Now that Iโll be working from home more, I would like some slow cooker recipes. I never use my slow cooker during the week because I donโt feel comfortable leaving it on that long. But, since Iโll be home, I would love to use it more. And, I have a pregnancy craving for pound cake โ any variation. Do you have any good recipes? Thanks!
