Out here in California we have a cinnamon bread made by Greenlees that sounds like the one your grandma used to have. Not sure if it is regional or notโฆItโs a pretty sweet cinnamon bread with lots of yummy soft crumble and a drizzle of icing on top.
Reading recipes, and reading your blog has always been a highlight for me. However, this last year has been hard..even brutal really. And I have found such a calm in reading about recipes, techniques, food memoriesโฆbecause when Iโm back and able..you know this girlโs gonna be making up for lost time in just about everything (God willing)..including cooking. Thank you for your inspiring not just cookingโฆbut actual livesโค
I use feedly to follow all of my cooking blogs, and Iโve noticed that for the past few months only your Friday Things and Weekend Dish post season go to my Feedly. Iโve gone back & checked numerous times, to for some reason the weekday posts arenโt showingโฆ.ย

Just curiousโฆhave you and your husband been watching the CNN production..โStanley Tucci: Searching for Italyโ? The third episode is scheduled for Sunday evening at 9pm. ..but the first two episodes are being replayed Saturday evening as well. It is just wonderful and I have so enjoyed all the information about regional foods as well as the historical perspective. The only down side is that I spend the entire hour salivating over the food. I can only imagine what a blast it was for Tucci to work on this project. He will be heading back for. ore filming as I just read that the series has been renewed for a second season.
