The Weekend Dish: 12/15/2018

Well, December has officially snuck up on me. I feel like it was just after Thanksgiving and I couldnโt believe that the calendar hadnโt flipped to December yet, and we had SO MUCH TIME until Christmas. Ummm, where did that time go?! I still have some shopping to finish up! This is basically our last weekend before Christmas since next Saturday weโll be celebrating with my grandparents and my dadโs side of the family.
How are you spending this weekend?!
As always, you'll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I've bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

When do you rest..and how do you stay so fit.
I had to look at the cable knit leggings for adults, and they do sell them on amazon..but they do not look anything near as plush and soft as baby leggings..almost look like tights. They say if u keep something long enough it will come back in styleโฆIโve been loving and wearing leggings before it was on trend lolโฆwhen it was probably a fashion โwhat not to wearโโฆbut I never cared..and now look..its the โcool thingโ. costco has a brand called Felina leggings..they are the softest and most plush brand I have seen.
The more confining ones are better for gym or running, but the felina ones are soooooo cozy for around home๐
Hi Macy! Restโฆ wellโฆ I need to do a better job at it! Honestly, Iโm just in full-time mom mode 98% of most days, and I work on the computer after the kids go to bed, while my husband and I watch shows. As for fit, such a compliment, thank you! but I am far from fitโฆ definitely struggling with the 3-kids-in-less-than-3.5-years weight gain. Which I know is not an excuse, since many women bounce right back to their pre-pregnancy weight, but it didnโt happen that way for me (well, it did with Dominic, but not after Joseph or Isabelle)! Need to do a better job of prioritizing exercise and less sweets ;-) And I am definitely going to check out those leggings the next time Iโm at Costco! Thanks for the tip :)
Michelle,
What brand of chocolate do you use for you Peppermint Bark?
Hi Brenda, I always use Ghiradelli! :)
Perfect thank you!! ย Made the slow cooker Chocolate Covered Peanut Clusters yesterday- awesome! ย They will forever be on my Christmas cookie tray!
