Our little boy finally made his grand entrance into the world this week!
Joseph David was born on Monday, January 19th at 5:36pm. Every inch of his 7 pound 2 ounce body is perfect and we’re totally in love.

We were so happy to finally get home yesterday afternoon and are all settling in together. I have a ton of recipes loaded up to share with you over the next few weeks; however, replies to comments and emails may be delayed. Boy, 3 nights in the hospital – we only get 2 around here, hope that doesn’t mean you are recovering from c-section :-(

Hi Lynne, Two nights is standard here too, but indeed, I did end up having an unplanned c-section. Worth every bit of the pain, though! :)
Yay! I was hoping we’d get to see little baby baker today! He’s perfectly gorgeous. Enjoy your family and I hope Einstein and Duke are soon in love with him too, once the initial shock wears off. My dogs are my son’s bffs, whether they wanted to or not. LOL.
