Friday Things #546

1. These two have loved being silly together since they were toddlers; I love watching them play and giggle together ๐ฉท๐
2. Itโs probably been awhile since I mentioned using Olive & June nail products (I LOVE them!), and they just announced this week that they came out with a gel mani system. I cannot wait to try it! I rarely paint my nails because I feel like they chip easily; I canโt wait to try out an at-home gel system.
3. Weโve had magnatiles in our house since the kids were toddlers, and they reach for them every now and then, but Dominic spent all of his free minutes last weekend building an elaborate magnatile city, incorporating other little people and play figures. It was so creative, and I loved watching his imagination. If you have a kid in your life who doesnโt have these yet, they would make a fabulous gift!
4. A James Clear nugget this week:
โTwo is twice as good as one, but one is infinitely better than zero.
- One minute of making sales calls is infinitely better than zero minutes.
- One minute of meditation is infinitely better than zero minutes.
- One minute of writing is infinitely better than zero minutes.
Sure, it might be ideal to spend an hour doing these things, but one minute gets you in the game. Now youโre learning. Now youโre improving. Now results are possible. One doesnโt seem like much, but itโs something real. At zero, youโre still dreaming.โ
5. Iโm ready to bust out the cookie cutters and make alllll the sugar cookies!
6. The kids are getting excited about Halloween next week! What are your kids/grandkids dressing up as?
7. We finished the new season of Trigger Point (Brit Box) and are now on the new season of Van der Valk. Weโve also been watching some new episodes of Tulsa King; excited for Yellowstone to finally come back in a few weeks.
8. TGIF!ย Sweet girl enjoying the sunshineโฆ

Iโm kinda getting into the cut sugar cookie mood too. ย I just had to pull out all of my cookie cutters and reorganize them (after a kitty got into the cabinet and wreaked mayhem in there) and now itโs unexpectedly got me excited for the holiday baking season ahead!
Happy Birthday and Happy Retirement to your Mom!!
My grandson will be dressed as the Staypuft marshmallow for Halloween. His Mommy and Daddy will be Ghostbusters!!
I hope your children enjoy their Halloween!!
Iโve been getting gel nails done for quite a few years now. ย First Biosculpture gel which is soft and more recently hard gel. ย It lasts 3 weeks and chips are rare.
LOVE your Friday Things.
Michelle,
I just love seeing these weekly updates with your Family!
It so nice see how the kids are doing and how they are growing so fast!
Thank you for the wonderful recipes. I look forward each week to seeing them.
Thank you.
Great picture of the kids, so sweet. It is such a treat as a mom to see my adult children enjoying each otherโs company and laughing together. Iโve been curious about Olive and June because my polish chips very quickly.
