Happy New Year friends!
It feels like itโs been forever since weโve hung out together on a Friday, doesnโt it? I hope that you had a wonderful, healthy, and relaxing holiday season and that the new year is treating you well so far.
The kids had so much fun and we thoroughly enjoyed having the most beautiful white Christmas.
We spent much of the break playing games, coloring, and enjoying lazy days. Weโre back at the daily routine this week, but I thought I would spend this Friday sharing some of my favorite photos from the holidays with you!
We put on pajamas after dinner and drove around looking at Christmas lights ๐
We baked (and decorated) multiple batches of cut-out sugar cookies! ๐
We enjoyed multiple snowfalls โ๏ธ
We took chilly walks and saw forest friends multiple times ๐
We basked in the glow of the Christmas tree from mid-November until a couple of days ago ๐

Joseph has been wanting to teach Dominic math ๐ข
And weโve enjoyed cozy days and nights near the fireplace every single day ๐ฅ

I am so enjoying watching your children growโthey are beautiful! ย I think you are about the age of our oldest daughter and your children are all around our grandโs ages. We have three childrenโso much fun- and ย our six grandchildren range from 4 months to eight years. ย This makes it extra fun to see all your posts and pictures not to mention the yummy recipes! ย Very best wishes for a happy and healthy 2021 to you and your family!

Your kids are growing so fast. Your Christmas reminds me of ours when we were growing up. Mom used to let us help make cookies too. Those are great memories and your kids will hopefully pass that down to their children. It is so refreshing to see parents that donโt let their children just sit in front of a computer all day long or use them as babysitters. Good on you. Hope you all have a wonderful year.

I love your innovative recipes but your Fridayโs are my favorites. ย Your sweet children are so delightful. ย We have ten grandchildren but they could not open the stockings this year.

We did too: lotโs of baking and watching cooking show with my kids! And of course, playing with new favorite toys: a set of mini soldiers and a device that tells stories for my younger son, and a keyboard for my older one.
โฆand an Instant Pot for me!!! Looking forward to cooking many recipes from BEB with it!
