1. This sweet boy turned FOUR on Sunday! It seems impossible that itโs been that long already. Dominic loves to play with Joseph and takes his role as Isabelleโs big brother so seriously; he is so, so good to her. He is obsessed with outer space right now, LOVES to help in any and every way, and doesnโt like to be far from any of usโฆ right next to his people is where he wants to be โค๏ธ๏ธ
2. I just love this girl and her hair and her spunk, and her supreme squishiness when she wants to snuggle ๐
3. The boys really fell in love with color-by-number during quarantine in the spring and I adore it when they ask me to color with them! A lot of times they take over my adult color-by-number pictures (and are so good at them!) :)

5. An update on my search for new sneakersโฆ I ordered at least a half dozen different pairs (Asics, New Balance, Ryka, Brooks, Adidas, Under Armour, etc.) and gave my top three test drives on our daily walks. The winner was the pair of Adidas Ultraboost! I LOVE them โ they are super supportive without feeling bulky and I had zero foot, toe, or leg pain after our walks. I wasnโt a huge fan of the color selection in my size on Nordstromโs website, so I bought this version from Adidasโ website (they are the same price both places).
6. Apple hand pies are the perfect portable pastry for this time of year!
7. We had what appeared to be the worldโs largest praying mantis on our window this week ๐ฑ
8. Love this breakdown of a bedtime routineโฆ ever since the kids were born, I rarely, if ever, have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, but I definitely feel like I need more sleep!
9. What are you watching right now? Weโre binging The Three Muskateers, which is pretty good; not my favorite that weโve watched, but still enjoyable.
10. TGIF! Lots of birthday fun last weekend โ this girl turned 4 on Saturday! Weโre so happy sheโs here living with us, sheโs such a snuggle bug and such a sweetheart ๐
For fall baking: Well, I already made a pumpkin pie! I woke up craving it and that same day you and Cook Nourish Bliss both posted pumpkin pie recipes! Gingerbread is a November must โ I found a good recipe from Nigella Lawson several years ago, her Guinness Gingerbread is delicious! It reminds me of the one my grandmother made, though I have no idea what her recipe was. Apple pie at Thanksgiving (as well as pumpkin and pecan) and Dille Bread near Christmas. Other than that, whatever sounds good! Iโm thinking of your rhubarb ginger scones again. I froze some rhubarb this year so Iโll try it out in a few weeks (Iโve never frozen rhubarb before!). I usually stock up on pumpkin chocolate chip muffins for an easy weekday breakfast (Iโll bake a double batch and freeze them). Banana bread and banana muffins are always on rotation in my kitchen. I love seeing what other people make though! And my coffee shop does a to die for pear cardamom muffin in the dead of winter. Itโs so light and fluffy and a perfect treat!

Weโre enjoying Down To Earth with Zac Efron. Itโs something weโve been able to enjoy as a family. Your kids are a bit young but itโs really an interesting show. It certainly doesnโt hurt that Zac is a totally cutie.
Happy Birthday to Dominic and Judith! Amazing to share same birth date and age. The kiddos are growing so well and fast and itโs so nice to see them so active and busy with their little projects. Itโs Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, so weโll be busy cooking and eating really well!

Thanks for the update on your shoes. I was wondering how it went. I actually bought my first pair of Adidas this last week from a Nordstrom Rack sale. I had been looking at Adidas for awhile, but your post encouraged me to just get them๐. I wonโt buy Nike any more. I canโt support their company any more and love that there are so many other quality options.
Judith has wonderful doggie parents and children. She was so blessed to get you as her parents. Youโฆeven still with 3 kids made Judith her own cake. Gotta love you!!!
The kids are adorable as usualโฆ.loved the link to the bedtime routine post โ I really needed a reminder about that- I used to have one years ago and then 2 years ago I moved and let go of my routine and havenโt slept as well since so I will be setting one starting tonight. Glad you found new sneakers โ I got new work shoes and itโs taken me about 6 months to break them in the way I need themโฆI watched a couple of seasons of The Three Musketeers but never finished it โ I should finish it.

I just baked off a batch of the soft M&M cookies posted this week. ย I made the dough yesterday, scooped them into balls and refrigerated them until this morning. I used Halloween M&Mโs and added some coordinating sprinkles to the batter. ย I also smashed about half of the M&Mโs to add a bit more texture. They came out great. They are perfect for Halloween treats and are totally yummy. Thanks for sharing the recipe at a perfect time.
Have you tried adult paint by number? I bought a kit during a special promotion from a company called Pink Picasso. I am painting a blue hydrangea arrangement. I hung the canvas on the wall rather than painting ย flat on a table. I can leave it there to dry in between sessions without having to find a space to store it in between painting sessions. The products are beautiful and the company has lots of choices. I am looking forward to framing and hanging ย finished painting.
