1. Joseph says Happy Friday! Heโs had a busy week โ heโs been up on his hands and knees rocking like heโs riding a horse and reaching up and grabbing the top of the pack nโ play and trying to grab the top of the crib. I feel like thereโs an awful lot of baby proofing and mattress lowering thatโs going to be necessary soon!

3. Ugh, I just hate the Cecil the lion storyย :(
4.ย Iโm never awake late enough to watch Jimmy Fallon, but I love seeing clips of some of his stuff. Iโm not a huge Tom Cruise fan, but this lip sync battle was awesome.
5. Googleย is now adding the busiest times to businessโ profiles in search results so you can possibly avoid long lines at peak traffic times. Love this!

6.ย Iโve talked before about how Iโd love to do a big cross country road trip at some point in the future, and I love seeing different maps for such trips. I just came across a map that details trips for each of 12 classic books about cross-country travel. So cool.
7. I have a hands-down favorite vanilla frosting recipe that Iโve loved for years now, but Iโve yet to decide on my favoriteย chocolate frosting. There are so many different types of recipes โ cocoa powder, melted chocolate, a combination, melted butter, Ovaltineโฆ Iโve tried them all and liked them, but never tasted them side-by-side.ย Iโm thinking of having a thrown down-style taste testing similar to the one I had for chocolate chip cookies a few years ago to come to a decision once and for all!
8. Is it awful that Iโm already kind of craving hot chocolate? Donโt kill me.
9. On an opposite note, I have yet to churn any homemade ice cream yet this yearโฆ Iโm WAY overdue. Any flavor requests??

Lucky charm ice cream! We have a ice cream place in Portland, OR that does it every year in March. So good! Hummingbird High did an excellent copy of it

Of course you could use that recipe for any cereal. Captain crunch Peanut Butter crunch w/ a chocolate base would be amazing too!

Butter pecan or something with peaches or pineapple would be my choice for ice creams.
There is a local ice cream shop in Richmond, VA that makes a pumpkin ice cream with ginger snap cookies every fall. I would love it if you could re-create that flavor.

Iโm a die-hard coffee ice cream fan myself, so I would put forth any variation on that flavor. And the hot chocolate. . . being a NJ girl I like to have it a small cup during summer nights sometimes (and I totally blame my mother for that habit since I think sheโs the one that started me on it during childhood). Donโt believe whatever people say about hot drinks and summer, thereโs never a wrong time for hot cocoa! (Also, an admitted chocoholic. Slowly cutting back on it though ;) )
Totally loving Josephโs little toothy grin! Looking after my cousinโs three little boys, the baby stage is one to savor even when they fuss while cutting new teeth. The baby pudge and waddle when they start walking is disappearing all too quickly once the littlest one hit his 2nd birthday.

My husband is allergic to eggs so my attempts at homemade ice cream have been hit or miss. Iโd love it if you tried an egg-free chocolate. Iโve also seen some wine-flavored ice cream recipes that are VERY intriguing.
Oh my! My 10 month old was diagnosed with an egg allergy โ so I am egg free while nursing. Iโve been dying to bust out my ice cream maker to try some egg free ice cream makers, but as my LO is my 3rd, I just havenโt had the time, and I want to know the recipeโs a sure thing before I dive in!
I just made a maple walnut ice cream (roasted/salted nuts) that is quite yummy. I used Jeniโs Splendid Ice Cream recipe. And lately, Iโve been loving the Ben & Jerryโs Everything Ice cream from the market. Would love to see that one replicated!

I always go for the chocolate frosting recipe on the Hersheyโs cocoa container, but if thereโs a better one, Iโd love to know! And I vote for coconut ice cream.
