An Update + Prayer Request

Last week, our son Dominic was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer of the nerve cells. He has a tumor in his abdomen and we know the cancer is also in his bone marrow. He is being admitted to the hospital this week to begin treatment.
He is currently doing great, feeling well, and running around playing. Even with all of the pokes and prods and procedures he’s gone through over the last two weeks, he’s never complained and is as happy as ever. He’s totally our hero.
We appreciate all of the prayers and good, positive thoughts you can send his way 💙

Michelle, I am so sorry to hear about Dominic and I know you must have been so shocked to receive this diagnosis. I truly understand. My fifteen year old son was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma when he was fifteen. A few years later his older brother was diagnosed with cancer also. It just seemed so unreal.
It was very difficult for all, but years later they are fine, married and each has three boys!
The coming days will be difficult but I can tell from your writings that you have a very close wonderful family who I am sure will be there to fully support you. You are also one of the best and most caring mothers I have seen.
You , Dominic, and your family will always be in my daily prayers.
