An Update + Prayer Request

So many of you have reached out over the last two weeks asking if everything is okay because I have not made any recent posts. I appreciate your concern so much.

Last week, our son Dominic was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer of the nerve cells. He has a tumor in his abdomen and we know the cancer is also in his bone marrow. He is being admitted to the hospital this week to begin treatment.
He is currently doing great, feeling well, and running around playing. Even with all of the pokes and prods and procedures he’s gone through over the last two weeks, he’s never complained and is as happy as ever. He’s totally our hero.
We appreciate all of the prayers and good, positive thoughts you can send his way 💙
Lord God your precious little lamb has been attacked e cancer..Lord God I pray for a miracle.. Lord God before his treatments guide the Dr. may there be no side effects. Fill his room w your presence..surround him w your love ..give him and his family strength.comfort peace..You have a powerful testimony for Dominic and your glory and honor will shine so bright in his life. In Jesus name..
Thank you for the update on sweet Dominic. I know you are busy and don’t have much free time so appreciate you doing this. Dominic and your whole family are in my daily prayers.

Oh my , I’m very sorry to hear of Domonic’s diagnosis! It feels like you guys are part of my life and it really saddens my heart to hear such tough news! Especially with our kids! Praying for all of you and a positive outcome for sure♥️

Give Dominic a hug from me. A happy state of mind is just as therapeutic as the treatments. I”ll be saying prayers daily to our Lord for his grace and healing. Please find a person in whom you can confide and talk to in private as you deal with this hurdle. After the storm there will be a rainbow. Love to all, Pat

The day you announced his condition was the day you posted the chocolate cupcake recipe. So I made a batch and prayed for you all that God would give you strength and let you know that He’s with you through it all. The cupcakes were totally amazing!! Thank you for the update today which I cried while reading because you all seem so happy to all be together and you son seems so very strong (oops, crying again) Our prayers continue with you all and I continue to make your awesome recipes and share them with my twin daughters and my daughter-in-law. Love you lots!

Oh Michelle! I too am one of your fans & was thinking it was me missing your much look forward to Friday posts! To see this news of sweet Dominic being challenged with an illness no one should encounter broke my 💔! Never are we prepared for lives misgivings! Knowing that you are such a loving family, God will give you all strength as you journey down this unexpected, bumpy road! Many prayers are being said for Dominic and the family & friends that adore your wonderful son! Prayers are God’s RX and they will be heard from many and from all over (I am in Boston)! I don’t know why but I didn’t see your original email about Dominic until today’s from you. Dominic has always been such a joy to follow with your other children and I’m so sad to hear about his health problems. He is in my prayers and my heart and I hope he continues to get better. He’s one brave kid. 🙏
