An Update + Prayer Request

So many of you have reached out over the last two weeks asking if everything is okay because I have not made any recent posts. I appreciate your concern so much.

Last week, our son Dominic was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer of the nerve cells. He has a tumor in his abdomen and we know the cancer is also in his bone marrow. He is being admitted to the hospital this week to begin treatment.
He is currently doing great, feeling well, and running around playing. Even with all of the pokes and prods and procedures he’s gone through over the last two weeks, he’s never complained and is as happy as ever. He’s totally our hero.
We appreciate all of the prayers and good, positive thoughts you can send his way 💙

I don’t expect Michelle to be checking this right now as her life is elsewhere during this very challenging amd painful time. If anyone has any kind of news or update about Dominic would you please post it here. I don’t have social media but would like to make my prayers specific if at all possible. My mind, heart and prayers are with this entire family every day .

My heart broke reading this….I just cannot imagine. I’ve got two little ones myself, and as a parent all we want is for our kids to be happy and healthy. You are in my thoughts and prayers, and praying Dominic continues to take the treatments well and improves. Praying you and your husband also have strength to be there for Joseph and Isabelle. Here I am again, wanting you to know you are always in my prayers. Wish there was more I can do for all of you. The first thing I do every morning is log onto your site to see if there is an update. Take care of yourself and know we your “food fans” are all here for you and your family.

You don’t know me but I have been communicating with your dad regarding the Latona Family Tree.
That broke my heart to hear of your son’s illness. He will be in my prayers for God and medical science to restore his health. Our medical institutions have made great advances which leaves us hope that they will make every effort to provide the latest medical advances to find a cure for Dominic.

I’m so sorry to hear about your precious boy being sick. My son is also a Dominic, so this especially tugs on my heart.

Dominic is in my prayers daily. He is a darling boy and I hope he is doing well with treatment and is comfortable. I know he is so loved.
